    Chapter and verse is pretty clearly out of development (last update July 2012). However, it no longer works, and it didn't take much research to figure out the problem is it requires quicktime for the process, which I no longer allow on my systems (for what I hope are obvious reasons). For years now I've been using Chapter and Verse ( Opens a new window), which is free, intuitive, and in almost all ways wonderful. I put them on my phone as m4bs, which frequently requires converting mp3s into that format. I have a long commute (over an hour each way) and spend the time listening to audiobooks. (Preface: This is only obliquely job related, but the spiceworks community is the most knowledgeable techie group I know of, so I figure if anyone has a solution, it'll be one of y'all)
